Interior Designer
My background is in hospitality interior design, working with global hotel brands like Marriott and Hyatt to create dynamic spaces with locality at their core.
This experience in the hotel sector has more recently led me to work with independents and agencies, taking on my own projects in my home town of Bristol, and across the South West.
The work I do spans across a number of commercial sectors, focusing on hospitality spaces and workplace interior design.
Over the previous 3 years I have been principal designer for Bristol based design and build company Alteriors, where I have lead the design for top national law firm Clarke Willmott, rolling out a new way of working across their national offices, including their office in Taunton and their flagship head office in Bristol each with over 200 staff. Other workplace projects include the complete reimagining and expansion of design recruitment specialist Mustard's central Bristol office, creating a dynamic, and vibrant social hub for their team.
My notable Bristol interior design projects include the cafe for Bristol landmark Clifton Observatory and Pizzarova North Street, alongside working as part of the project team for the radical redevelopment of Bristol Old Vic.
A sensitivity to materials and an understanding of the interaction of people with spaces is at the core of any design. I bring both the commercial qualities of branded hotel interior design, alongside the independent spirit and bespoke nature of smaller scale work.
